Facebook Horizon was recently announced and it will be a large, virtual reality multiplayer game. Within the game, users will be able to shape their environment, talk to friends, as well as explore the game. The game will launch in 2020 beginning with beta testing, which is currently available. Facebook Horizon was designed to be a VR destination for users to visit.

The Horizon game will be played around the town square, with experiences and gameplay built around the setting. Users will be able to customize their in-game appearance, as well as create new areas for the game, and design new activities for themselves and other players.
