Facebook: The Board Game aims to re-create personal relationships that have been eliminated by the digital boundaries of Facebook.

The way this game works is it encourages people to interact in activities they have been accustomed to only associate with Facebook. For example, if you land on a ‘Status’ tile and choose a status card, you have to share something your life -- this may seem easy, but saying something personal out loud is sometimes a lot harder than being behind a computer screen.

There are also a lot of fun activities involved in the game that really stress the importance of being social. For example, if you were to land on an event card, the goal is for you to plan an event with another player and host a fun party together.

We don’t usually think twice about the things we do on Facebook, but this game can really strengthen relationships we didn’t realize we lost along the way.
