The Eyes on the Road app works by using sensor fusion technology and GSM cell towers to measure car speed. If the car is travelling above 20 km and hour, the app hides phone calls, text message notifications and other distractions from your phone until you reach your destination or after ten minutes of idleness. The app can also be manually disengaged. The Eyes on the Road app is increasing road safety one phone at a time.
