The WinkyMote is an eye remote controller that lets you change the channel with the blink of an eye.
The WinkyMote is placed on the skin and is integrated with technology that follows the muscles movements from your blinking commands to control the television. This project was first tested on a quadriplegic who was paralyzed in a Jiujitsu accident, and the results were inspirational. Although this seems like it would typically appeal to tech-savvy people, it also encompasses those who physically are incapable of controlling the television. A simple everyday task is made possible again for those who would otherwise require assistance.
This may be for those who like to collect gadgets, but it also will help to change entire groups of people, from the quadriplegic to the elderly.
