This Indiegogo Video Game Lets Players Explore the Titanic

— March 26, 2013 — Art & Design
An Indiegogo project that is just getting off the ground aims to create a virtual version of the world's most famous ship, giving players the chance to fully explore the Titanic.

'Titanic: Honor and Glory' is a project that is being put together at Indiegogo by Four Funnels Entertainment, and uses the latest in video game technology to allow players to explore the Titanic in a hyper-detailed environment. The doomed liner comes to life using the power of the CryTek 3 engine, the same graphics engine that powers heavy graphical hitters, most notably Crysis 2 and 3.

The game will have players explore the Titanic while interacting with real life historical figures on the boat; and yes, the boat will still sink, and players will have to escape the ship's doomed fate. Four Funnels is aiming for $20,000 as their development goal to create the game.
