Miami Motel Pictorials

These Eugenio Recuenco photographs depict a patient damsel in the bright, pastel-washed sunny climate of Miami. The lady in question in the 'Fichas' magazine editorial appears to be hanging out in shady motels, perhaps waiting for a male friend to arrive.

The candy-colored images are perfectly suited to Miami's palm trees and retro, geometric architecture, and the clothes don't disappoint either. The retro styling's pair luminous orange trousers with acid-yellow cardigans and candy floss-colored pink shirts with bright yellow high-waisted shorts. Other looks in the series go for a more grown-up, Hitchcock heroine feel, with high-waisted pencil skirts in houndstooth patterns and velveteen red cat bow shirts.
