If you’ve ever wondered where, how and by whom your products are made, then Ethical Community is an online marketplace that will let you discover just that.
The sustainability-focused online retailer connects business owners who sell ethical products with consumers who care. At the same time, shoppers also get to learn about the people who make the products, and the stories behind them.
Ethical Community offers plenty of gift products such as fair trade treats, upcycled fashion, natural soap and candle sets and even environmentally-friendly gift packages that are perfect for weddings.
The online marketplace was launched in October 2010 by Liam Patterson and Jason Dainter in order to make ethical consumption easier for both businesses and consumers.
“Every seller we sign up goes through a strict vetting process and every product they list explains what steps the seller is taking to ensure the product is ethical,” the company explains. “Whether it’s fair-trade coffee, organic shampoo, or a natural bamboo t-shirt for your new born baby, you will be able to read about this using our easy to follow cause guide.”
