Film-Forming Skincare Creams

Kao's est Genoluxe Cream Condition Skins at a Genetic Level

Kao's est Genoluxe Cream is a novel new skincare product designed to condition skin at a genetic level and form a fine film over skin that prevents moisture loss over time.

In collaboration with Asahi Kasei, Kao developed disintegrating microfibers from a by-product of cottonseed oil production. These fine plant-based fibers form a network on skin—resistant to sweat, sebum and friction—to support supple, smooth, firm skin. With proprietary technology to analyze RNA, Kao identified specific RNA linked to changes in skin, like moisture levels and firmness, caused by aging and environmental factors. Altogether, the innovative est Genoluxe Cream supports well-functioning RNA and locks in moisture to maintain the skin barrier's elasticity and plumpness that can be compromised by external factors.

Genetic-level Skincare
RNA-informed formulations signal a shift toward beauty products that address skin condition through deeper biological insights rather than surface-only benefits.
