Ergonomic Programmable Gaming Keypads

The Razer Tartarus V2 Pro Enhances One-Handed Control

Razer's Tartarus V2 Pro is a one-handed gaming keypad featuring upgraded optical switches and an adjustable palm rest, designed to replace conventional keyboard layouts for single-hand play. It abandons a QWERTY layout and offers 31 fully programmable keys and buttons, each with RGB lighting for custom aesthetics.

The V2 Pro widens key actuation depth compared with its predecessor and swaps its thumb control for an analog TMR thumbpad to enable finer directional input. The hardware ties into new proprietary input controls: Snap Flex lets two actions be attached to one press, while Snap Tap prevents two selected keys from firing at the same time to avoid conflicting inputs.

All inputs are configurable through Synapse software, and the unit keeps an ergonomic shape for extended sessions. Priced at $200, it targets players who want tighter macro execution and fewer input errors. The combination of refined switches, analog thumb control and per-button mapping sharpens precision and customization for single-handed play.
