It looks like Eny Lee Parker might have a long and successful career ahead of her. A recent graduate student from the Savannah College of Art and Design, her latest designs are incredibly chic and creative. Take the Wabi-Sabi Mirror&Table as the perfect example. A hybrid between a mirror and table, one leg of the freestanding mirror is replaced by the small side table. Eny Lee Parker fit the mirror into a slot in order to provide another dimension to the design.
While the mirror portion of the design is quite straight-forward except for the re-imagined base, the table is quite striking. Eny Lee Parker crafted it out of a wood, giving it a curvaceous aesthetic that brings a sculptural appeal to the home. Eny Lee Parker named the piece after the Japanese theory of wabi sabi is finding beauty in imperfection.
