One of the problems with solar panels is that they have a very stationary design that isn't intended to be moved after installation, so the conceptual 'Energy Tape' is a new way to think about the technology.
Designed by Lei Yang, the unit works by a roll of tape by offering users the ability to unroll the solar cells to be placed anywhere they require including windows, on a backpack or even on a tent when camping. This ensures that power is always accessible to satisfy increasing demand for constant connectivity.
The 'Energy Tape' concept allows users to stick it anywhere thanks to the reusable tacky material on the underside, and is ideal for a number of different consumers with varying lifestyles.
