This is one kind of energy ball I haven't seen before, but would really like to have in my desk drawer! Jiang Qian created an incredibly innovative, eco-friendly way to recharge your batteries using kinetic energy.
By tossing, rolling or passing the ball around, the kinetic charger rejuices batteries by converting the energy produced while playing into electricity.
Qian, a Shanghai-based designer, was able to design the gadget so that a bit of tossing would create enough energy to charge the battery housed inside the ball.
"The device fits both AA and AAA batteries," New Launches says. "The Roll Charger has LED indicators for when the batteries are fully charged."
