The Emisferi collection is a glazed terracotta block system developed by Note Design Studio for Mutina. Debuted at 3daysofdesign, the product extends the manufacturer's tile expertise into a three-dimensional architectural component. Each block features a cubic form with semicircular recesses on both sides. The geometry creates openings when multiple units are stacked together, allowing light and air to pass through assembled structures. The blocks can be used for freestanding partitions, shelving systems, tables, and other interior or exterior applications.
The collection is available in Beige, Light Blue, and Brown finishes. A glazed surface gives each unit a combination of matte and velvety textures, while subtle variations in the finish reveal evidence of the production process. The repeated geometry supports a range of configurations using a consistent modular form. Openings created by the semicircular cutouts introduce patterns of solid and void across walls, furniture, and architectural installations.
