Elvis Presley's car collection was unsurprisingly quite a surprising one, and included Rolls-Royces, Cadillacs and this particular BMW 507, which he used in Germany while doing military service. The vehicle has now been restored and looks so impressive that the king of rock 'n' roll would surely approve.
This particular BMW 507 was worse for the wear after passing through the hands of various owners and suffering rust, damage and wear-and-tear in different areas. Thankfully however, the vehicle was shipped back to Germany to be restored by BMW themselves. The end result was that the vehicle's motor was fitted appropriately while the V8 engine was rebuilt to the vehicle's original specifications.
The restoration of Elvis Presley's car proves that it's well worth restoring forgotten vehicles to turn them into highly prized collectors' items.
