Lexus Launches the Elphaba TX and Glinda TX

Lexus has introduced the 'Elphaba TX' and 'Glinda TX' character-inspired vehicles to mark the Los Angeles premiere of Universal Pictures' Wicked film adaptation. Both vehicles are crafted to reflect the personalities of the story’s iconic witches. Set to debut at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, these custom designs blend cinematic flair with Lexus’ signature features.

The Elphaba TX presents "a deep emerald-green finish complemented by bold gold accents and green underglow lighting, symbolizing Elphaba’s strength and mystery; the vehicle’s DFY GRVTY vanity plate references her defining song from the film." In contrast, the Glinda TX sparkles in bright pink with "shimmering gold details and pink underglow, embodying Glinda’s lively character while its POPULR plate nods to Glinda’s signature song." Moreover, both vehicles integrate Art Deco design elements inspired by the film’s Emerald City architecture, alongside Lexus' advanced technology and spacious third-row seating, offering a unique fusion of theme and practicality for a cinematic event.
