For Fall 2023, palmer//harding has debuted an incredibly elegant fashion collection that draws inspiration from plant life but not in the traditional way of evoking floral sensibilities through patterns, motifs, and forms. Designers Matthew Harding and Levi Palmer sought out "new ways of expressing growth and transformation." The Fall 2023 elegant fashion collection started with the trajectory of a seed—from its planting stages, through its many growing phases, and into its blossoming point. This is why the ready-to-wear capsule is aptly called 'Blossoming.'
While the Fall 2023 release by palmer//harding has much to do with nurturing, transforming, and the becoming of plant life, the slick silhouettes on the runway do not include any floral motifs. Instead, the inspiration is communicated through "neutral and grounded earth tones."
