Forget solar power, wind power and other eco-conscious developments we have created thus far, electricity out of thin air is the way to go. At least, once it has actually been developed.
Brazilian scientists are harnessing lightning power to capture electricity out of thin air, using the principle that lightning charges water droplets. If this can actually be brought into fruition, not only will it be able to power buildings and such, scientists will also be able to prevent lightning from striking. PopSci explains the phenomenon below.
