German auto company Volkswagen is launching an innovative new electric van, called the e-Crafter, that may sound familiar but is in fact a significant upgrade over its already impressive predecessor that was unveiled last year.
Designed for urban delivery applications, this particular electric van is capable of pumping out 134 horsepower and 290 Mn of torque, enabling it to attain a top speed of 80 km/h. While this may not seem like a big figure at first, it's more than sufficient when you consider that the vehicle isn't designed for rip-roaring its way through race tracks but rather to carry heavy loads -- over 3,000 pounds -- of cargo for delivery.
With its eco-friendly powertrain and reliable functioning, the updated e-Crafter is an electric van that can be relied on for deliveries.
