Compact Electric Cars

Japan's Tommykaira ZZ Electric Sports Car is Small & Surprisingly Powerful

GLM's Tommykaira ZZ is a powerful electric sports car that's set to put Tesla to the races. The sleek car is capable of going from 0 to 100kph in just about 3.9 seconds, which actually makes it a little bit faster than Tesla's Model S.

The Tommykaira ZZ was first announced back in December of last year and after collecting $6 million in funding, this car will soon begin being mass-produced and it should be ready to hit Asian and European roads in 2015. The price on the stylishly small electric vehicle is set around $80,000, which makes this a hot automobile to covet. Since it's primarily designed for use overseas, the car is quite compact and ideal for living and driving in some of the world's most bustling cities.
