The lack of options in electric manual transmissions may turn away serious car enthusiasts, The Genovation GXE is giving automotive enthusiasts a real reason to consider electric. The car is something quite unique as it is essentially a seven-speed manual transmission all electric Corvette. This places Genovation in a unique automotive standing as electric car giant Tesla has yet to announce a manual version of any vehicle. It is important to note that this vehicle is not a concept car and has actually been road-tested on a closed track.

While the appeal of a electric manual transmission may draw some attention to the GXE, perhaps the biggest selling point is the staggering performance touted by the vehicle. With twin electric motors, and the body of a C7 Corvette Grand Sport, the GXE is capable of 800 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque. Couple this with the 175 mile range, and it becomes apparent that this vehicle may be poised to surpass Tesla in terms of high performance vehicles. The Genovation GXE will be made in limited supply as only 75 cars will be made by the manufacturer.
