Electric E-Commerce Vans

Amazon Revealed Its New Eclectic Delivery Van Produced by Rvian

Amazon recently revealed its new electric delivery van, which was created through a partnership with Rivian. The electric delivery van features three levels of shelving, strengthened doors and bulkheads, as well as two displays with a 360-degree view. The exterior features round head lights and a low to the ground design.

The e-commerce giant hopes to have 10,000 of its Rivian vans in operation by 2022, and another 90,000 by 2030. The move to electric delivery vehicles is also part of the company’s pledge to be net carbon zero by the year 2040.
In 201 Amazon ordered 100,000 electric cars from Rivian, and it also funded the EV startup with a $700 million USD investment.

Amazon also ordered 1,800 electric delivery vans from Mercedes in August.
