The Dubai-based design firm ELE Interior has completed a residential project within the Al Barari development. Dubbed 'Villa Esencia,' the home emphasizes a harmonious relationship between the built environment and its natural setting.
ELE Interior's design philosophy centers on a modern aesthetic characterized by a restrained color scheme and the extensive use of organic textures, including Taj Mahal quartzite, travertine-effect porcelain, and custom joinery. A central architectural intervention is the incorporation of an open-air courtyard that functions as a core organizational element, which floods the interior with natural light and fosters a continuous visual and spatial connection to the outdoors.
ELE Interior also undertook significant structural modifications — from reconfiguring the second floor to create an expansive master suite to altering a double-height volume to introduce a new functional area.
