The Elaine Lui Graduate Collection Featured LED-Lit Garments

Elaine Lui is a recent Fashion Design graduate from SCAD Atlanta. Entitled ‘IT’S ON‘, the designer's thesis collection pays homage to her native Hong Kong and draws inspiration from the city's vivid nightlife.

The designer creates vanguard streetwear with a vivid twist and presents a range of mesh-overlaid garments that double as pieces of wearable technology.

In addition to its eye-catching prints and mesh accents, the Elaine Lui graduate collection also features illuminated LED strips that are built into her clothes. While her windbreakers and coats light up, the designer's statement tees feature prints of LED strips that are repeated throughout the collection.

The designer's innovative collection is featured in a catalog that stars Alejandro Valencia, Caleb Smith and Montez Davis. The models are captured by photographers Faisal Mohammed and Christian Cody while posing in her striking pieces.
