Ed Wray is a serious photographer with a pretty clear mission: to capture and show just how hard life can be around the world. An immensely talented documentary-styled photographer, he has traveled around the world from Afghanistan to Fiji to bring light to some of the most ravaged cities ever.
Ed Wray studied International Relations at Boston University. This ignited a special interest to understand how the news of the day became history. Before becoming Chief photographer in Jakarta, Ed Wray worked ten years for the Associated Press, also as a photographer.
As you can see from the gallery, Ed Wray not only knows how to handle his tool of trade, but also how to get right into the thick of things. His images are full of strife, emotion and reality.
