BEAMS x Birkenstock Boston Bone Pattern Smooth Black is a collaborative clog released for the Spring/Summer 2026 season as part of Birkenstock’s 50th anniversary of the Boston model. The design continues the partners’ Bone Pattern series, applying a textural treatment inspired by Birkenstock’s outsole. The silhouette retains the closed-toe Boston structure while introducing a full smooth leather upper finished in black. The release focuses on adapting a familiar model through surface modification rather than altering its core shape or function.

The upper is constructed from smooth leather with a deeply embossed Bone Pattern applied across the entire surface. The clog maintains its slip-on format with an adjustable strap and metal buckle positioned across the vamp. A contoured cork-latex footbed supports the foot, paired with a suede lining. The outsole uses Birkenstock’s EVA construction, providing cushioning and durability while preserving the original profile of the Boston model.
