The many diverse furnishings and fixtures that are typically spread throughout an ideally generous interior space have been combined inventively in the CLEI ECOOKING Kitchen. The extraordinary compound appliance tidily tucks into the compact form of a squared column when it's not in use.
Massimo Facchinetti divided the complex contraption into slices that can be pivoted out as specialized sections. The many modules include countertops, a sink, a stovetop, a microwave, a refrigerator, an oven, an herb garden and storage. Each element can be drawn out as needed.
One of the many benefits to the close-packed nature of the CLEI ECOOKING Kitchen is that the many separate mechanisms can become codependent for energy. The exchange of heat and moisture and the reuse of water make the system incredibly environmentally friendly.
