This Exceptional Eco Theme Park Teaches Visitors About Sustainability

This unprecedented eco theme park in the Netherlands is run on wind power and teaches guests about environmental sustainability. Jora Entertainment partnered with green energy provider Qurrent to create the first amusement park in the world that is fully sustainable. This would give the country a huge boost in reaching their goal of having 6000 megawatts of sustainable energy on land before the year 2020.

Wind turbines will serve as both energy generators and ride infrastructure for the 8000 square meter eco theme park. They also hope to educate visitors about the use of wind power and the plus side of sustainable energy.

Rides like the Beaufort Buster (a wind turbine and water slide hybrid) are an unparalleled example of renewable energy applications in entertainment.
