Earos Accoustics is a new sound technology company founded with one specific goal: to preserve both people's hearing and the fidelity of the sound around them. Earos Accoustics' principle products, the Earos earplugs, assure just that through the use of impressive sound engineering and hardware.

The Earos plugs are far more than a pair of foam or rubber blockers. Rather, each of the connected devices is embedded with sound-filtering technology. The exposed side of the Earos plugs is called the Soundbore -- it blocks out excessively loud sounds (like those at a club or concert.) However, it also registers the vibrations from these sounds, processes them, and plays them at a safe volume without losing any noise across the spectrum.

The plugs also come with Earos Accoustics' app, which people can use to test whether the ambient noise in any environment is loud enough to require extra protection.
