Developer-Focused Aerial Imagery Tools

EagleView Offers Free Trial For Customizable Aerial Imagery

EagleView launched a new early access program that gives developers a 30-day free trial of its Imagery API, expanding its existing developer ecosystem. The program lets qualified users tap into EagleView’s catalog of more than 3.5 billion aerial images, including oblique and orthogonal views. The key differentiator is the ability to define a custom 2-square-mile area of interest, moving beyond the fixed sample area available in the sandbox.

Developers already used EagleView’s self-serve portal for documentation, Postman collections, and a sandbox environment built around a 1.5-mile sample. With the new trial, product teams, GIS specialists, and engineers can integrate high-resolution imagery directly into their own software environments. They can visualize buildings in 3D, measure roofs, and access property details using the same data that supports insurance carriers, roofers, utilities, and real estate professionals.

For users, this trial lowers the barrier to experimenting with premium spatial intelligence. It enables faster prototyping of tools for claim assessment, urban planning, asset inspection, and property marketing. The offer reflects a broader trend toward self-serve, API-driven geospatial platforms that let developers test real-world data before committing to full-scale deployments.
