Dufaylite, a UK-based manufacturer of honeycomb paper products, has launched thermally-insulated box liners and inserts made from recycled paper honeycomb. The company aims to offer a paper-based alternative to packaging solutions made from polystyrene and lambs wool.
The honeycomb cells create pockets of air that trap air and offer excellent thermal properties. This helps keep contents cool for up to 48 hours. The inserts are also durable, strong, and extremely rigid, ensuring full protection during transit. They can also be made to fit any box size, including Dufaylite's Envirolite honeycomb packaging boxes.
Dufaylite's Envirolite products are paper-based and fully recyclable. As they are manufactured in the UK, the company can provide bespoke solutions from size to cell thickness, ensuring a perfect fit within any box.
According to Dufaylite's managing director, Ashley Moscrop, the company believes that using single-material products like their Envirolite range will increase recycling rates across the UK and make it easier for businesses and their customers to be more sustainable.
