Dudu Torres Paints Lifelike Characters From 'Legend of Zelda'

Many have been exposed to fan art based on the 'Legend of Zelda' series, but Dudu Torres puts his own unique spin on the elven characters by painting them in a pseudo-realistic style that other artists often avoid. Why do they avoid it you ask? Perhaps because it's an extremely difficult style to master, and master it is exactly what Torres has done.
Dudu Torres is a freelance illustrator currently residing in Brazil. His work can be seen in game art, book covers, CD covers, storyboards and comics, but looking at these Link, Zelda and Ganondorf paintings, his illustrations would not be out of place in art galleries and exhibits. He demonstrates a strong understanding of lighting and I'm sure his ability to render lifelike facial features will only continue to improve as time goes on.
