Dubai is known for its extravagant architecture and sky-high structures, and it will go on to be known for the Dubai firefighters that fly on jetpacks to save people in buildings.

After one of the highest residential buildings in the world caught on fire with few ways to reach people within, the country decided it would begin training and equipping Dubai firefighters with futuristic flying machines.

The jetpacks are simple to use, made by Martin Aircraft company, and will be useful for communicating with residents during a skyscraper fire. The CEO of Martin views the packs as excellent tools for the next generation of emergency responders as well as a high-tech toy for future entertainment. He sees the jetpacks becoming an industry of entertainment, inviting the public to test them out in very controlled settings.
