Some may be familiar with the movie of the same name starring Robin Williams, but Hunter Doherty 'Patch' Adams is a real person who started a medical movement that encouraged healing through humor. The Dream Doctors campaign centers around this idea.
Created by Tel Aviv-based ad agency Shalmor Avnon Amichay/Y&R Interactive, the Dream Doctors campaign revolves around buffoon bacteria characters. Paired with the tag line, "Medical Clowns. For a few minutes the disease is less scary," these images show that laughter and playfulness can alleviate a patient's fear and stress.
The Dream Doctors campaign was creative directed by Oren Meir and art directed by Gil Aviyam.
