Fried Chicken-Wrapped Hot Dogs

KFC's Double Down Dog Replaces the Bun with More Meat

Those living in the Philippines are being treated to a new breed of hot dog, which has been appropriately dubbed the Double Down Dog. Created by KFC and the highly anticipated follow-up to the original Double Down, the meal is just what people would expect: a hot dog wrapped in fried chicken in place of a bun.

Although covered in hot cheese, the Double Down Dog may be a heart attack in the making, but people will enjoy every bite leading up to one. While many fast food franchises are introducing healthier menu items, KFC is appealing to the experimental and adventurous eater with its crazy concoctions. There is no word yet if the Double Down Dog will make its way to Western populations.
