Eastern Condiments' Dosa Batter Comes in a Ready-to-Pour Package

In order to make it a bit easier on consumers who want to prepare an Indian dosa batter for breakfast, Eastern Condiments put together a convenient packaging solution.

The ready-to-cook batter is sold in pouches, which eliminates the laborious process of grinding and fermenting that typically comes along with making this breakfast dish from scratch. While there are other types of dosa batter that can be purchased from packages, many of them cannot be resealed or feature inadequate mechanisms for closure once the bag has been opened once.

As a solution to this, Eastern Condiments worked with Studio ABD to create a packaging design that could stand on its own. The pack features a hole on the side that is useful for retail merchandising, as well as pouring the contents of the package.
