Uniqlo UT Unveils Doraemon Collection With Takashi Murakami

Contemporary artist Takashi Murakami works alongside Uniqlo UT to create the nostalgic Doraemon collection. The main visual aesthetic of the entire collection is drawn from the works of Murakami, boasting colorful floral patterns. Doraemon is a wildly popular cat-robot character from a Japanese manga series that began in the 70s by Fujiko F Fujio. The vibrant collection will be comprised of 15 items in total, including pieces for men and kids, as well as a plush toy.

The infamous Doraemon plush toy wears an all overprint of Murakami floral and characters from his original manga series. There are also t-shirts in colors such as black, blue, white, and pink that boast graphic prints. The Uniqlo UT Doraemon collection will be dropping exclusively on April 26th at the 5th Avenue location, following an official launch in stores and online beginning in May.
