DoorDash Ask Helps Users Curb Endless Scrolling

DoorDash Ask is the brand's latest artificial intelligence (AI)-powered recommendations feature that will enable users to avoid the need for endless scrolling to find the perfect place for a meal.

The AI chatbot works by having users simply type what they're looking for and be provided with a series of options in seconds. Users can then refine the various selections and even ask the chatbot to build them an order that's influenced by their personality tastes. The feature will also help users with getting restaurant reservations and even shop for groceries with the option to upload a picture of a recipe to get started.

Co-Founder Andy Fang spoke on DoorDash Ask saying, "We’ve spent over a decade building an app that puts everything in the city at your fingertips, but more options shouldn’t mean more work. Now you can search DoorDash in your own words to find exactly what you want.”
