The cronut has spurred a dessert revolution in which bakers of all ilk are attempting to top it with another delicious hybrid; the folks over at The Green Radish may have done it with their Donart. The Donart is a combination of a donut and tart, giving the former a bit more structure and the latter a variety of different flavors.
Founded by James Rafferty and based in New York City, The Green Radish is a vegan organic food truck, which will lead most to believe that the Donart is not only tasty, but healthier than a cronut. The Donart is available in seven amazing flavors including the Old School Cinnamon Sugar Donart, Glazed Double Dark Chocolate Donart and Vanilla-Almond Donart. Officially launching next month, New Yorkers should be lining up now.
