Matt Williams Architects designed the sustainable Dolphin Sands Studio to bring its residents as close to Australia's Tasmanian shores as possible. The Tasmania-based architecture firm specializes in sustainable architecture. Its latest undertaking is a 36 square meter tiny home, located mere yards away from the ocean's shore.
The Dolphin Sands Studio is made from timber and boasts a triangular shape. Its materials were locally sourced, and it will function as a guest house for the client's main residence, located a few meters back. Its unique triangular shape was inspired by the shape and purpose of a vintage slide viewer. Overall, the sustainable tiny house is designed to capture the best views of the surrounding landscape without disrupting its environment.
