Celebrity-Backed Baking Mixes

Dolly Parton and Duncan Hines Launch a Set of Baking Mixes and Tools

American celebrity Dolly Parton has been chosen as the new muse of the new Duncan Hines baking mixes. A cornbread mix, biscuit mix, and two brownie mixes are among the new offerings; they were inspired by some of Parton's favorite childhood dishes. A $40 kit with all four mixes, a towel, a spatula, and recipe cards is also offered. “What would Dolly do?” is written on the butterfly-decorated towel and spatula. The boxes come dipped in a baby pink shade with hot pink ‘Dolly Parton’ text on the front.

“I knew Duncan Hines and I were bringing something special to the baking aisle when we launched our partnership last year, and I’ve been thrilled by the response,” Parton said in a news release. “I’m really excited to launch more baking mixes steeped in my Southern roots, like Cornbread and Biscuits. I think folks are really going to like them and hope they’ll bake up some special memories with family and friends.”
