The Dole 'Go Bananas' campaign has launched for 2012 and the American company, which rolled out Go Bananas campaigns in 2010 and 2011, is stepping up its commitment to health this leap year by giving consumers "366 Ways to Go Bananas in 2012."
The Dole Go Bananas campaign for 2012 will be centered on Twitter and Facebook. Users can get suggestions and tips on how to enjoy the fruit every day of the year by using the #Go366 hashtag or visiting Dole's Facebook fan page. So far, Dole has offered tips such as using a banana peel to polish your leather shoes, adding a banana to your oatmeal at breakfast time and eating two bananas every day to help with weight loss.
Through its year-long campaign, the brand hopes to promote nutritional health and encourage people to eat more fruits and vegetables.
