Bellylabs' co-founders saw that breeders were encountering challenges in their daily lives and set out to create a reliable and affordable way to determine dog pregnancy, and so the world's first early detection rapid dog pregnancy test for home use has been developed.
The Bellylabs Pregnancy Test boasts a proven accuracy rate of 96 % for all dog breeds and it introduces a new technology for testing pets at home. Jarno Kukila, CEO and Co-Founder of diagnostics company Bellylabs, says "The gestation period in dogs is relatively short, about 63 days. Detecting pregnancy at an early stage allows the owner or breeder to arrange the best possible conditions for the dog." The Bellylabs Pregnancy Test is designed to detect the relaxin hormone, which is produced by the placenta of a pregnant dog.
