Gardicanin, a pet services company in Paris, organized the first French dog dating service event in May. What is to be an annual event facilitates meetings between dog owners, their pets and dog sitters. The 'DogDating' event which was modeled after speed dating, aims to match prospective clients with one of their 40,000 host families who can provide care for the family pet during the summer vacation season.
Partnering with Travel Wanimo and Auchan, Gardicanin promoted the dog dating service by offering prizes of dog toys, pet tents and other doggie delights as well a week-long vacation for two dog owners.
