Eye-Catching Gender Equality Ads

VCCP Launched 'Does It Sit Comfortably' Ad Ahead of Women's Day

With International Women's Day around the corner—on March 8th—UK-based creative agency VCCP debuted an eye-catching line of embroidered pillows titled 'Does It Sit Comfortably.' The focus of the series is to draw attention to the language used in places of work directed negatively towards women and hopefully dissuade colleagues to continue using it.

These bespoke and vibrant pillow cushions featuring chunky typography amid funky and avant-garde designs. Included in the bright and playfully designed cushions are the following inappropriate sayings: "You're Funny For a Girl," "She's Gets Too Emotional About Things," "Who's his PA? Let's Ask Her," and "Just Get One Of The Girls To Organize It." While these sayings might seem causal, they actually perpetuate negative stereotypes about women.
