Some health systems have attained a mythical status of zero wait times, attentive doctors and affordable services -- many more are the complete opposite and that's where Docent Health hopes to step in. Stress is an enemy of health, so it's only natural that a company would want to mitigate it in hopes of making patients get better sooner and in a respectable manner.

Docent Health is a startup launched by Paul Roscoe. Fast Company writes that "the goal is to bring hospitality to health care and draw on best practices from top restaurants and hotels." Using a combination of online and offline services, Docent Health essentially makes each patient feel like a welcomed guest through professional and personal tactics.
