Dynamic Personal Cooling Booths

The Do Hiemon Box is a One-Person Cooling Booth

Do Hiemon Box is a one-person cooling booth developed by SDRS in collaboration with TRUSCO Nakayama to provide rapid relief from extreme heat. Inspired by Japan's ubiquitous vending machines, the enclosed unit maintains an interior temperature of approximately 15 degrees Celsius while directing 5-degree chilled air toward the user's head, neck, and shoulders. Designed for workplaces and public environments exposed to high temperatures, the booth offers three cooling modes and an automatic 20-minute shut-off timer to help users adjust safely to changing temperatures.

Constructed from stainless steel with polystyrene insulation, the cooling booth measures approximately two meters tall and operates from a standard 100-volt electrical outlet while consuming around 0.51 kilowatt-hours of electricity. Locking caster wheels allow the unit to be relocated for use at construction sites, factories, warehouses, schools, outdoor events, and other heat-exposed locations.

Personal Climate Pods
Compact, single-user temperature-control spaces create new potential for heat-stress relief in workplaces, transit hubs, campuses, and event venues.
Portable Heat-safety Infrastructure
Mobile cooling units with standard power compatibility point to scalable comfort systems for organizations managing extreme-weather exposure.
Targeted Micro-cooling
Localized airflow directed at the head, neck, and shoulders reflects a shift toward efficient physiological cooling instead of whole-room air conditioning.

Industries Being Reshaped

Workplace Safety
Heat-mitigation equipment opens opportunities for employers to reduce operational risk and support worker wellbeing in high-temperature environments.
Construction Equipment
Rugged, movable cooling booths introduce new rental and deployment models for job sites facing rising temperatures and stricter safety expectations.
Public Event Services
