Considering the spring is filled with themes of renewal and regrowth, this DIY Easter basket from HGTV is a fitting way to usher in the warmer weather.
As well as saving you a trip from the store to buy a basket, this alternative project may even be something that you can make from items that you already have at home. The upcycling project involves an old belt and an unused terracotta flower pot, which can be cleverly assembled using a couple of rivets. Filled with straw or paper, this basket provides tons of space for treats like candied eggs, chocolate Easter bunnies and even carrot-shaped goodie bags. Best of all, once the basket has been used for Easter, it can be emptied out and used once again as a flower pot.
