Densely Draped Editorials

The Divka FW 2012 Collection Carries Chic Weight

The Divka FW 2012 collection is highly dimensional and carries weighted fabrics, juxtaposed with elegant patterns. The series features several styles of frocks, sweaters, skirts and trousers. The looks are sculptural, building up shape and form with draped fabrics. The look is elegant, yet assured and confident. The looks are highly artistic and contemporary, yet wearable. Memorable pieces include a black quad-tailed jacket with leather trim, and the shawl-neck ink-print dress.

The series is titled ‘Pattern,’ reminiscent of the process of creation. Risks, mistakes and experimentation is at the heart of fashion, and drives the FW 2012 collection. Designer Divka is based in Japan, and graduated from Central Saint Martins College Of Art & Design.
