Water-Soluble Electric Chips

The recent advancements in dissolving electronics research have resulted in an electric chip that is biodegradable and water-soluble. This means that with further research, these types of chips will be able to replace current electronic chips that need to be inserted inside the body. The only difference being that the dissolving chips will disappear once they are no longer needed, while the current technology stays within the body.

While this may sound like some Science Fiction fantasy, there are many practical uses for such technology. In the medical field especially, the electronics could be used to dose a patient with medication and then dissolve once its task is complete.
