In the same way that stray dogs roaming the streets is unusually popular in some countries and cities (I'm looking at you, Pompeii), random Disney cats are also a thing. Luckily for those of us who don't live near a Disney park location, there is an Instagram account called disneylandcats to document the hundreds of cats spotted in the iconic theme park.
The Instagram is run by the same people behind the website The Cats of Disneyland. This endeavor follows the approximately 100 to 200 Disney cats often seen in California's Disneyland venue. Some frequent feline visitors even have their own profiles, such as Francisco of #FranciscoFriday and the orange-haired Giovanni. Usually spotted at night, these furry friends currently have about 13,000 Instagram followers.
